Being a GRAPHIC DESIGNER seem so far reach to me at first. I have
never thought that I'll have the chance to expose myself into the design
industry.....all I have in mind is engineering and computer science, which
neither are my interest. It's been a long road when it come to deciding
what I want to major in. I want to do something I'll like for the rest of
my life, I want to be experimental and be creative, I want to be a
DESIGNER.
I have to explore as many designing style as possible. I think that this
is part of the learning process and it's inevitable. That is how a designer
grow with his style. I can be a perfectionist at times and become VERY
demanding towards myself in my perfectionist mode. , which sometimes
drain me physically and emotionally. Luckily for myself I just pay attention
to important detail rather than draining myself over all details. That is
how I work and it always works.
Being a design student in a foreign country can be both challenging
and at disadvantage. I get to learn about the western popular design
style and integrated it into my own. The disadvantage side is that
language can be a barrier at times when it comes to communicating with
other designers.
